The following link will explain.
Courier JournalI don't know how long the link will be good so I will try to get permission to reprint the article here.
I belive that Mcdonalds blaming the vitim for the atrocities which she was subjected too is abhorant. I could understand the corporation trying to claim no liability for the actions of junior managers at a local restaurant, thats just the corporate way, but to say, not suggest but straight out say, that this girl was reponsible for what happened to her that evening is contemptible.
Let me be clear that I do not know this girl or any of her friends and relatives. Neither do I have some personal vendetta against McDonalds. Until I read this article I frequented the local Mcdonalds, and I have the debit card statements to prove it. But I cannot continue to support a corporation that would act in such an abhorrent manner, and I hope you feel the same.
If you do please pass this information on to everyone you know also write to Mcdonalds and let them know of your displeasure with their actions in regard to this matter and your intent to avoid their restaurants. Also call or write your local broadcasters and let them know that you will not be wathing any programs that have McDonalds as an advertisor due to this.
Thanks
